Historical comparison

Price path from cycle low to cycle high

Compare each season in chronological order: cycle low, midpoint from low to halving, halving, midpoint from halving to high, and cycle high. Season 5 is still before its halving, so only observed or calculable milestones are shown.

Past performance does not guarantee future results. These values are a factual comparison of historical data, not a price forecast, target, or trading signal.

Low and high prices are candle lows and highs observed on the TradingView INDEX:BTCUSD UTC daily chart. Prices at both midpoint dates and the halving date are CoinGecko BTC/USD daily closes; each multiple divides that price by the same season’s BTC Index low.

A midpoint halves the UTC calendar-day span between its two milestones; for an odd span, the later central date is used. — means the date has not been reached or the high is not established, so it cannot be calculated. No average or forecast price is supplied.

What this chart shows

The price line connects daily BTC/USD closes downloaded from CoinGecko. Weekly and monthly views use the last valid close in each period. Blue vertical lines mark the UTC dates when Bitcoin reached its halving target block heights.

Cycle comparison overlays daily closes for seasons 1–4 from -700 to +700 days with each halving set to day zero. It uses absolute USD closes rather than multiples or returns normalized to the halving-day price, and it does not fill missing or future dates with an average or forecast path.

Low and high marker dates were observed on the TradingView INDEX:BTCUSD chart; the dashed marker is the provisional Season 5 low candidate on July 1, 2026. Marker height on the CoinGecko line uses that UTC date’s CoinGecko close, which may differ from the $57,748 BTC Index observation.

CoinGecko data begins on April 28, 2013, so earlier BTC Index observation dates have no CoinGecko price.
