Local browser storage

BtcCal stores your language choice and recently confirmed block information on your device. This information keeps the language setting and helps the page remain stable when external data is temporarily unavailable.

The stored information is not used to create an account or sync across devices. Deleting site data in your browser removes it.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

BtcCal is served through Cloudflare Pages, which automatically injects a Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon into every page to aggregate traffic and performance information. Its dashboard may show page views and visits, URL paths, referring hosts, country, device, browser and operating-system categories, page-load timing, and Core Web Vitals.

According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not use client-side state such as cookies or localStorage to measure usage, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not collect or use visitors' personal data. Blocking the measurement script or request does not affect core site features. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation and Privacy Policy for details.

External block API requests

Your browser requests the current height directly from Blockstream or mempool.space. Those providers may process an IP address and ordinary request logs, and their respective privacy policies apply to that processing.

Deferred loading of the TradingView widget

On the Price & halvings page, the external TradingView widget script loads automatically without a separate consent step when its section approaches the viewport. If you do not move near that section, a connection to TradingView may not occur. When the widget loads, your IP address, device type, operating system, browser version, network information, and widget interaction and analytics information may be sent to and processed by TradingView; cookies or similar technologies may also be used.

This processing is governed by TradingView’s Privacy Policy, not by BtcCal. If you do not want this third-party connection, do not move near the TradingView section or use your browser’s content-blocking features.

Advertising service status

This site does not offer account registration and does not separately collect direct personal information such as users’ names or email addresses.

Google AdSense advertising and its consent management platform are not currently active, and the site sends no advertising requests. If an advertising service is introduced, this page will be updated to describe the applicable data processing and available choices.
